Different quality control charts can be defined in the strategy for analysis and the SPC-run. Qs-STAT is working together with the O-QIS – modules as the basic tool to define the rules of SPC, including the Quality Control Charts and the alarms based on them. In the qs-STAT software, a variety of predefined evaluation strategies are available, which have been provided by leading OEMs and integrated into the software. Thus, the qs-STAT software provides a tool for reproducible evaluations according to customer requirements, which can be carried out according to the rules of the OEMs. In addition, own standards can be created at any time.

The basic data format of the software is the Q-DAS ASCII transfer format. This has become established as a quasi-standard in the industry, even outside the Q-DAS software. A certain quality of the format can be ensured through certification by an industry working group (AQDEF). Future ISO standards will define the Q-DAS ASCII transfer format as the new standard for SPC data exchange. However, manual imports or working with converters for any formats possible.
