Frequently Asked Questions
Why doesn't Inspect generate a report when you execute a PC-DMIS measurement routine?
Make sure PC-DMIS is configured to generate .pdf reports. For information, see "Configuring PC-DMIS to Print Reports".
How to fix when my Settings.xml file is reported as corrupt, and I cannot use Inspect at all?
Try to reset Inspect to its factory settings. For information, see "Resetting Inspect to Factory Defaults".
What do I do if I see an "Emergency Error" when Inspect tries to establish a connection with PC-DMIS or during execution?
How do I make Inspect use my version of PC-DMIS?
Make sure you have the PC-DMIS application add-on installed for your version of PC-DMIS. Please see here.
Why does Inspect confuse which reports are from this sample?
Ensure the PC-DMIS report folder is set to be a local folder on that computer. To view reports from other CMMs, use Metrology Reporting.
