FIVE U-nique Fixturing System
Flexible fixturing system for sheet metal parts
FIVE U-nique is an innovative system for the flexible fixturing of parts for inspection on a coordinate measuring system. It uses the coordinate measuring system to build precise, repeatable part-holding fixtures before executing the part inspection program.
Its main mechanical component is a jackable column available in several sizes and mounted on the CMM's baseplate to support the part under inspection. Depending on the machine with which the system is used, you can select between either mechanical or magnetic bases. Various accessories are available which mount onto the columns, including supporting, referencing, and part-locking modules.
