Advanced training builds upon the knowledge gained in the Fundamentals training class with a focus on 3D machining. Programmers will study the software’s 3-Axis tool paths and learn to apply them to three dimensional models.
Among the topics covered are:
• Designing 3D Surfaces – Creating and modifying 3D surface models
• Roughing Operations – Z Rough, Plunge Rough and Step Reduction
• Finishing Operations – Cut, Planar, Z Finish and Flat Surface
• Advanced Finishing - SteepShallow, 3D Offset, Pencil Cut, Radial, Spiral and Multi-Cut
• Tool Containment Strategies – Defining tool paths to regions with avoidance control
• HSM Options – Configuring High Speed Machining tool paths for best results

Certificates: Provided upon completion
